UPCOMING SERMON SERIES
MAKING CHANGE
JANUARY 31 – FEBRUARY 14
Everyone wants to be financially smart. From a young age, parents encourage their kids to learn ways to spend money wisely. Yet, Americans currently owe nearly one trillion dollars in credit card debt and more than 70 percent have less than $1,000 in savings, meaning many people live paycheck to paycheck. God Calls us to be good stewards of our finances – spending, saving and generously giving. This sermon series will provide practical and biblical ways to make changes in your financial life with real transformation.

CLAIM YOUR VISION
JANUARY 30, 11 AM
Join the women of the Claim It Village for a time of inspiration and brainstorming. On January 30, we will work together through a series of activities to release 2020 and re-claim our vision and goals for 2021. The following week, we will hold an optional co-working session on February 6 at 11 a.m. This will allow time and space to create your own vision board alongside others. Register now.

9:15 AM Service Song Lyrics

Sun setting on the mountain top
But our feet they just won’t stop
We know though darkness comes
That God will send a light
Cold pavementpounding underneath
Shadows engulf the street
Dank fear begins to creep
But God will send a light

Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light of hope
Get the light of peace
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light
It’ll bring a song of joy
So we move our feet
We see it shining on the other side
Just need to pick up our stride
Gotta ge the light
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light of Christ
Gotta work for peace

God’s people have a history
Of forgetting what we’re meant to be
Sometimes we fail to see
God has sent a light
But we won’t let the hatred in
Our God will always win
And we know where the light has been|
We can be the light
Yes we will be the light

Gotta be the light
Gotta be the light
Gotta be the light of hope
Be the light of peace
Gotta be the light
Gotta be the light
It’ll bring a song of joy
So we move our feet
We see it shining on the other side
Just need to pick up our stride
Gotta be the light
Gotta be the light
Gotta be the light of hop
We will work for peace

The Lord is my light and my salvation
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is my light and my salvation
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is my light and my salvation
Of whom whall I be afraid?
The Lord is my light and my salvation
Whom shall I fear?

Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light of hope
Get the light of peace
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light
It’ll bring a song of joy
So we move our feet
We see it shining on the other side
Just need to pick up our stride
Gotta ge the light
Gotta get the light
Gotta get the light of Christ
Gotta work for peace

We are one in the spirit
We are one in the Lord
We are one in the spirit
We are one in the Lord
And we pray that all unity may one day be restored
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love

We will walk with each other
We will walk hand in hand
We will walk with each other
We will walk hand in hand
And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love

They’ll know us by our love (love, love), our love (love, love)
Our love (love, love), our love
They’ll know us by our love (love, love), our love (love, love)
Our love (love, love), our love

We will work with each other
We will work side by side
We will work with each other
We will work side by side
And we’ll guard each other’s dignity and save each other’s pride
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love (love, love, oh)

They’ll know us by our love (love, love), our love (love, love)
Our love (love, love), our love
They’ll know us by our love (love, love), our love (love, love)
Our love (love, love), our love

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

They will know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love

All this pain
I wonder if I’ll ever find my way
I wonder if my life could really change at all
All this earth
Could all that is lost ever be found
Could a garden come up from this ground at all

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

All around
Hope is springing up from this old ground
Out of chaos life is being found in You

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

You make me new, You are making me new
You make me new, You are making me new

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

11 AM Service Song Lyrics

Come Christians join to sing
Alleluia amen
Loud praise to Christ our King
Alleluia amen
Let all with heart and voice
Before his throne rejoice
Praise is his gracious choice
Alleluia amen

Come lift your hearts on high
Alleluia amen
Let praises fill the sky
Alleluia amen
He is our guide and friend
To us he’ll condescend
His love shall never end
Alleluia amen

Praise yet the Lord again
Alleluia amen
Life shall not end the strain
Alleluia amen
On heaven’s blissful shore
His goodness we’ll adore
Singing forevermore
Alleluia amen

Change my heart O God
Make it ever true
Change my heart O God
May I be like you

You are the potter
I am the clay
Mold me and make me
This is what I pray

Change my heart O God
Make it ever true
Change my heart O God
May I be like you
